SANYO announces two ultra short-focus 3D projectors
SANYO North America announces the introduction of two new ultra short-focus projectors with 3D capabilities, the PDG-DWL2500 and the PDG-DXL2000. The PDG-DWL2500 is a WXGA resolution projector with 2500 lumens of brightness while the PDG-DXL2000 is an XGA resolution projector with 2000 lumens of brightness. Here’s what you need to know about each of the new projectors.
SANYO PDG-DWL2500:
- 1280 x 800 resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio
- 2500 lumens of brightness
- Generates 80 inch image at a position of only 12.6 inches from the screen – the shortest throw unit on the market today
- Maximum size of 110 inches
- Uses Frame Sequential Display Format to display 3D
- 2000:1 contrast ratio
- Onboard 10 watt audio amp and mono loudspeaker
- HDMI 1.3a (with Deep Color support); D-sub 15 pin x2 (RGB or Component input with adaptor); S-video; Composite RCA
- MSRP of $1995
SANYO PDG-DXL2000:
- 1024 x 768 resolution with 4:3 aspect ratio
- 2000 lumens of brightness
- Generates 80 inch image at a position of only 15.1 inches from the screen
- Maximum size of 90 inches
- Uses Frame Sequential Display Format to display 3D
- 2000:1 contrast ratio
- Onboard 10 watt audio amp and mono loudspeaker
- HDMI 1.3a (with Deep Color support); D-sub 15 pin x2 (RGB or Component input with adaptor); S-video; Composite RCA
- MSRP of $1795
Both projectors measure 12.6 x 6.7 x 15.2 inches and weighs a mere 14.3 lbs. Expect the new 3D projectors be available in July.
