Onnto introduces O’ TOSTORE TA-M12O eSATA/USB 2.0/FireWire 3.5 inch SATA HDD enclosure

Onnto has released a new addition to their SATAPro enclosure lineup called the O’ TOSTORE TA-M12O 3.5 inch SATA HDD enclosure. The TA-M12O’s claim to fame is its ability to provide several different interfaces on the same chassis while also providing impact protection and thermal efficiency. You can pick your favorite interface from either eSATA, USB 2.0, or FireWire. In fact the TA-M120 provides two 1394a ports.

Other features of the O’ TOSTORE TA-M12O include:

Converts SATA HDD signal to USB 2.0 or FireWire for use with notebooks
Bundled 6 pin to 9 pin FireWire cable and USB 2.0 cable
Provides heavy duty cooling with quiet-running, low power fan
Aluminum housing

LaCie Biggest S2S 5TB SATA II RAID solution

Folks working in the digital content creation industry are always in need of disk space. LaCie has released a new storage product designed explicitly for these folks called the LaCie Biggest S2S 5TB RAID array.The external RAID array sports an eSATA interface capable of 3Gbit/s transfer rates and burst transfer rates of over 200MB/s. Each RAID box is capable of storing up to 5TB of disk space and you can connect up to four S3S units to the included eSATA PCI-X/Express Card to achieve 20TB of disk space.

According to LaCie, hard drives are hot swappable and the entire system is hot-pluggable. Features and specs include:

5 bays with hot-swappable drives
Supports RAID level 0, 1, 0+1, JBOD
150 W maximum power consumption

You can purchase the LaCie Biggest S2S with either a PCI-Express card for $3999.99 or with a PCI-X card for $3899.99

LaCie is now taking pre-orders for their new LaCie Big Disk Extreme+ external hard drive. This triple-interface external hard drive provides a built in RAID-0 array and a whopping 2 terabytes of disk space. Features include:
