Addonics new DigiDrive flash memory reader/writers with SATA interface
Those of you looking for a multi-format flash reader with a high-speed interface will be interested to hear of Addonics Technologies two new products – the new Pocket eSATA/USB DigiDrive and the internal SATA/USB DigiDrive. Both drives feature dual interfaces and come in either a read/write model or a read-only model ideal for forensic applications.
The Pocket eSATA/USB DigiDrive has the following features:
- Size of a portable floppy drive
- Support almost all flash memory media (15 formats) via four slots
- Connects via either eSATA or USB
- With eSATA, any flash media can be used as a bootable device with read/write speeds up to 150MB/second
- Upgradeable firmware
The Pocket DigiDrive has a list price of $64 dollars for both the regular and read-only versions.
The Internal SATA/USB DigiDrive has the following features:
- Internal flash memory reader/writer
- Mounts directly into standard 3.5 inch drive bay
- Supports up to 150MB/second transfer speeds
- Flash media can be used as a bootable device
- Upgradeable firmware
The Internal SATA/USB DigiDrive has a list price of $59.99 for both versions.
