Got some fast typing fingers? If so, you might want to consider entering into Das Keyboard’s Ultimate Typing Championship (UTC). The UTC is a chance for anyone (well U.S. residents only) over 18 with fast typing skills to compete for $2000 dollars.

<p>Got some fast typing fingers? If so, you might want to consider entering into Das Keyboard’s <a href="http://www.ultimatetypingchampionship.com/" target="_blank">Ultimate Typing Championship</a> (UTC). The UTC is a chance for anyone (well U.S. residents only) over 18 with fast typing skills to compete for $2000 dollars. </p>
<p>Here are the details:</p>
<ul>
<li>You must be over 18 and a legal U.S. resident  </li>
<li>Contest runs through Dec. 31 followed by a semi-final “Round of Six” that happens online in early Jan 2010. The final round will take place at the South by Southwest Interactive Festival in Austin Texas.  </li>
<li>You’ll use an online typing application called TyprX which tracks an individuals progress as they type through a random paragraph of text. This application will calculate the final words-per-minute (WPM) typing speed.  </li>
<li>Individuals can take a typing test as many times as they’d like during the general UTC online competition</li>
</ul>
