MSI announces two new G series gaming notebooks
MSI announced late last week two new gaming G series notebooks – the GX660 and GX660R. Both models feature ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 discrete graphics with 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM and a Dynaudio sound engine. The GX660R adds RAID storage options over the GX660. Other specs to the new G series systems include:
- Support for Intel Core i7 processor
- Intel PM55 chipset
- Two 500GB SATA HDD
- DDR3 memory with three SODIMM slots
- 15.6 inch HD/Full HD LED backlit display
- Measures 396 x 269 x 55mm and weighs 3.5 kg
