Those of you living in colder environments (or if you simply like to ski or snowboard) might be interested in this gadget. It’s the “eneloop kairo” – a rechargeable hand warmer by Sanyo. The device comes with two temperature settings and an internal lithium battery which can be recharged 500 times. A PTC heater and microprocessor enables “high precision temperature control” while “preventing low-temperature burns.”  Move over gloves and pockets – we’ve got ourselves a hand warmer gadget!

Sanyo Katana LX - 1

Sanyo Katana LX - 2

Fans of the Sanyo Katana handset will be happy to hear that the company appears to have another model in the making. Thanks to the FCC, renderings of the upcoming Katana LX handset have made the rounds on the Internet. Information about the feature set is a bit scarce at this time but MobileBurn does mention that the phone doesn’t appear tohave a camera, external display or a microSD slot (though I’m not sure about the camera aspect). From the images, it appears the clamshell handset comes with side volume controls and a headphone jack. Documentation clearly shows this phone to be a CDMA phone with Bluetooth wireless capabilities.
