Lexar Media increased the storage capacity to their Platinum II flash memory cards today by introducing a new Platinum II 60x 16GB SDHC card and a new Platinum II 80x 16GB CF card. The Platinum II SDHC card has a minimum sustained write speed of 9MB/sec while the Platinum II CF card has a minimum sustained write speed of 12MB/sec. Both flash cards will be available this month.
