This diminutive device is the new second generation Kingston MobileLite G2 media card reader which allows users to easily transfer data between flash memory cards and PCs/Macs.

The MobileLite G2 supports SD, SDHC, microSD, microSDHC, MemoryStick PRO Duo, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo, and Memory Stick Micro memory cards and features retractable covers on each side to protect the USB connector and the flash memory cards from damage. Kingston ships the MobileLite G2 with a lanyard and a short USB extension card making it easier to connect the media card reader to hard-to-reach USB slots.

You’ll be able to purchase the MobileLite G2 as a stand-alone reader or as part of memory card bundle (choose from a 4GB or 8GB Class 4 SDHC card).

The standalone MobileLite G2 will be available for $11 dollars. The 4GB SDHC bundle sells for $28.50 while the 8GB bundle goes for $46 dollars.
