As consumers begin to graduate from netbook systems, it’s clear that people are looking for mobile systems with larger displays and faster processors without sacrificing portability, battery life, and most importantly price. Gateway introduces their latest all-in-one PC, the affordable multi-touch enabled Gateway One ZX Series. Housed in a sleek glossy jet black chassis resembling a flat panel TV, the One ZX features an adjustable back stand, integrated speakers, silver and clear acrylic accents, and illuminated feet and keyboard.

What makes the One ZX particularly interesting is the built-in multi-touch display which leverages Windows 7’s multi-touch capabilities to provide users with a whole new way of interacting with the Windows desktop. It might be the start of summer but for many companies, it’s actually the beginning of the all-important back-to-school season. Gateway announced this week two new back-to-school desktop PCs – the small form factor SX Series and the compact (though boring looking) DX Series mini-tower line.
