Rounding out Apple’s product announcements today is the new 27 inch LED Cinema Display featuring an incredible resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 60 percent more screen real estate compared to the 24 inch LED Cinema Display.
Features of the new 27 inch display include:
- Built-in iSight video camera
- Built-in microphone and speakers
- Powered USB 2.0 hub
- Universal MagSafe connector
- 16:9 edge to edge glass display
- Aluminum stand with adjustable hinge
- IPS display technology with 178 degree viewing angle
- Ambient light sensor to aid in automatically adjusting the display brightness
The 27 inch LED Cinema Display will be available starting in September for a suggested retail price of $999. It will require a Mac with a Mini DisplayPort.
