Have you ever left your home; stepped into your car; driven off to some destination; only to arrive realizing that you left your mobile phone at home? Yeah – we’ve all done that at least once in our life and these days, leaving your phone at home almost feels like you’ve lost your wallet or something.
Well a company called Bringrr is looking to change all of that with their newly announced device called aptly “Bringrr”. It’s a remarkably simple device to set up and use. Simply pair it with your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and then stick it into your car’s power port/lighter outlet. Once you start your car, Bringrr will power up and look for your Bluetooth handset. If it’s able to connect to your phone, it’ll send out a short auditory confirmation and turn its light blue signifying your mobile phone is with you (or at the very least very close to you).
If it can’t successfully pair with your mobile handset, then it will sound out an auditory warning and turn its light red indicating your phone is either turned off, out of power, or not with you in your car. Yes, an incredibly easy device to use that’ll warn you if you’re not carrying your mobile phone when you’re about to hit the road (assuming of course you have a Bluetooth-enabled handset).
The Bringrr will work with any Bluetooth-enabled phone and will work with any vehicle with a lighter outlet or power port. There’s no software to install and the pairing process is a simple one-time setup. There’s also a version of Bringrr (called Bringrr Charge) which features a power port for charging your phone while you’re driving. This version will cost you $44.99 while the regular Bringrr will be priced at $34.99. Expect the devices to be available in the middle of July.
