Sony announces it’s working on a new AVCHD HD camcorder
Sony also announced today it is developing a new AVCHD high definition camcorder featuring an interchangeable lens system compatible with the “E Mount” and the “A Mount” via a mount adapter. The “E Mount” is the new system developed for the aforementioned NEX-5 and NEX-3 digital cameras while the “A Mount is used by the existing alpha DSLR cameras. The new HD camcorder will also be equipped with the same Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor used in the NEX-5 and NEX-3 cams.
