In preparation for coming onslaught of 3D content, Marvell announced on Monday the introduction of 3D Blu-ray support with their new ARMADA 1000 HD Media Processor 88DE3010 System-on-a-Chip (SoC). The 88DE3010 provides hardware manufacturers with the necessary tools to build in 3D support into devices such as Blu-ray players, HD set-top-boxes, digital media adapters, and 3D TV sets.
