Sanus also announced last week a new fully motorized flat panel mount called the VisionMount VLMF109. Supporting flat panel ranging in size from 37 inches to 56 inches and weighing up to 110 lbs, the VLMF109 provides full motion movement all controlled by the included IR remote control.

At the touch of a button, users can change the viewing angle of their flat panel by extending the mount up to 9 inches away from the wall and swiveling it up to 120 degrees. When fully retracted, the mount sits a mere 2 inches aware from the wall thanks to a motor that measures only 1.99 inches. This is pretty incredible when you consider that most motorized mounts need far more depth for their motor).

Features include:

• Quiet operations – operating at a mere 35 decibels
• RS-232 compatible for integration with home automation systems
• Automatic setup feature detects the location of the wall and programs a stop-limit to ensure TV won’t bump into the wall when the mount is swiveled.

The VisionMount VLMF109 will be available starting this month.
