This funky looking iPod docking station is the new JVC XS-SR3 surround dock. The system features a glossy black speaker tube with a curved design that surrounds the iPod. The iPod holder can position the device vertically for music listening or horizontally (see below) for watching videos and comes with four clips to hold selected iPod models. The speakers utilize neodymium magnets while the system supports Dolby Virtual Surround which creates the illusion of a wider sound field.

The XS-SR3 has a power output of 5 watts, and comes with two audio inputs, one analog, and one digital optical input. You can also use the XS-SR3 as a computer speaker system. Expect the docking station this month for $149.95.
