Netherlands-based LOOQS announces a new comprehensive digital media playback and storage solution called the MeeSeries. Consisting of two storage products, a digital photo frame, a media player, and a new online storage/service, MeeSeries aims to provide a comprehensive solution to manage all that digital media we’ve been collecting through the years.

The MeeSeries consists of:

MeeBox:

The MeeBox is a centralized media server allowing you to download, store, distribute/share, and backup digital content. It’s available in two versions – the MeeBox Router and the MeeBox NAS with the Router adding an integrated wireless router into the mix. Both systems are available with one or two hard drives of 500 GB or 1 TB and support RAID 0/1. Other features include:

  • Built-in iTunes server
  • BitTorrent download client
  • UPnP media server
  • Web Server
  • Print Server
  • Several pre-installed web app including file manager, photo gallery, blog server, and web forum

MeeFrame:

Play back photos stored locally (local memory, memory card, USB device) or online (via services like MeeChannel.com, Flickr, Picasa), or stored on the MeeBox. Other features include:

  • get weather info
  • get latest news
  • listen to music and Internet radio
  • Alarm clock

MeeCeiver:

MeeCeiver is essentially the media player you’d use to play back your digital content onto a connected HDTV set. MeeCeiver can wirelessly stream photos, music, and videos stored on PCs or on the centralized MeeBox. MeeCeiver also has a direct connection to the Internet to access streaming content, online photos, or Internet radio.

MeeChannel.com:

Free online service and gateway to photo storage, management and exchange.

So far, no word on pricing nor availability but we’ll find out more info at CES 2010.
