ASUS announces UX30 thin-and-light notebook

ASUS launches a new thin-and-light notebook in the form of the UX30. Weighing only 1.4 kg and measuring a mere 19.6mm thick, the UX30 features:
- Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 processor
- 13.3 inch TFT LED backlit LCD display with 1366 x 768 resolution
- Intel GS45 Express Chipset
- 320GB HDD
- 3GB RAM
- media card reader (SD, SDHC, miniSD, MMC)
- Gigabit Ethernet
- 802.11 b/g/draft-N Wi-Fi
- Mini VGA, HDMI port
- 3 USB 2.0 ports
- Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS
- Measures 328 x 222 x 6.8 ~ 19.6mm
The UX30 will be available in Japan for 99,800 Yen (or $1109.44 U.S. dollars).
