Dell launches most powerful mobile workstation with Precision M6500
Dell pushes mobile performance to new heights with the announcement of the Dell Precision M6500 – a system they’re billing as the “world’s most powerful mobile workstation”. With a starting price of $2749, this mobile beast of a system supports up to a whopping 16GB of RAM as well as the Intel Core i7-920XM quad-core Extreme Edition processor.
The system can be configured with the following specs:
- Choice of Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition Quad Core or Core i7 Quad Core processor
- Windows 7 to Windows Vista OS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- 17 inch display – from WXGA+ to WUXGA resolutions
- Dual-channel DDR3 memory
- Up to 3 storage devices with optional RAID 0, RAID 1 or RAID 5 configuration
