Featuring the new ModBay technology, the DeskBook Pro not only delivers a multitude of ports and interfaces, but also near unlimited upgradeability and expandability for your notebook.

With these two ModBays, users will be able to easily expand their system by adding ModBay modules (known as Mods) delivering either additional storage capacity (known as sMods), additional power (bMod), or space to dock and charge an MP3 player, iPod, or iPhone (iMod).

The DeskBook Pro is compatible with any Mac or PC notebook up to 15 inches large with FireWire and USB capabilities (although it arguably looks best when coupled with a MacBook system don’t you think?)

Sounds great right? Well it’s also a wee bit pricey. Pre-orders for the DeskBook Pro are being taken now for January 2010 delivery with units priced at $499.99. This docking station is more expensive than nearly all netbooks out there!
