Dell Mini 3i now available at China Mobile
The newly announced Dell Mini 3i Android-based smartphone is now available via China Mobile. In a blog post over at Direct2Dell.com, Lionel Menchaca provides additional details to the Mini 3i. Here’s a summary of what the Mini 3i delivers:
- Mini 3i runs on China Mobile’s OPhone open source platform
- Supports China Mobile’s Mobile Market
- 3.5 inch 640 x 360 widecreen display
- Quad-band GSM/EDGE network support
- Bluetooth connectivity
- Built-in GPS
- 3 megapixel camera with zoom, auto-focus, flash, video capture, and photo-editing capabilities
- microSD slot with support for up to 32GB cards
- Mini USB connector
- Measures 58.35 x 122 x 11.7 and weighs less than 105 grams
Lionel also goes on to mention that Dell will continue to look at new technology that’s important to their customers. According to Lionel:
“As we expand hardware and create new carrier partnerships, feature sets may vary depending on the needs of mobile operators. Don’t expect all Dell smartphones to have the same spec and feature list. Design and technical specs will vary based on the needs of carriers, regional considerations, and what customers want.”
As with many handset vendors – what you get with one carrier might not be the same thing you get with another carrier.
