OPPO BDP-83 Special Edition Blu-ray Player

OPPO upgrades the BDP-83 Blu-ray player with the BDP-83 Special Edition Blu-ray Player by adding a new analog audio stage as well as an improved power supply. Also known as the BDP-83SE, the model features the Sabre family of DACs from ESS Technology – specifically the 8-channel Sabre Premiuer (ES9006) DAC chip for 7.1 multi-channel output. There’s also a dedicated stereo output which uses another 8-channel Sbare Ultra (ES9016) DAC chip by stacking 4 DACs for each Left and Right channel. Other features and specs to the BDP-83SE include the following:
