Just how thin is that Dell Adamo XPS?
There’s certainly no doubt that the newly announced Dell Adamo XPS is a work of art (and wonder!). But after reading Mike S’s blog posting over at Direct2Dell, I have a much better appreciation of this incredible notebook.
First off – if you’re wondering what it means to be only 9.99mm think – consider what Mike says:
“to give you an idea of how thin 9.99mm is, most cell phones today are thicker. The current iPhone is 12.3mm thick and a common USB port, found on most computers these days, is 7.5mm.”
That’s right – the Adamo XPS is actually thinner than that iPhone in your pocket (yeah let’s face it – you know you probably have an iPhone in there). Taking the thinness into consideration, it’s absolutely incredible that Dell managed to pack in features such as an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM, a roomy 128GB SSD, and a 13.4 inch display.
Make sure to head on over to Direct2Dell’s website to read up on the Adamo XPS. Also, check out Brian Solis’s webpage for additional pictures of the Adamo XPS (which are shown in this posting).
