For 400 bucks they're pretty sweet overall. I think every one really has to decide if speakers fit your needs or not. My needs were a more floorstanding beauties of speaker than my previous, be affordable, and keep the wife happy. These Series E5TiR Floorstanding Loudspeaker's, while possibly sounding better, perfectly fit all of my needs, the wife, so they are in by default.
