eMachines introduces low-cost Atom-based all-in-one – the EZ1601-01
eMachines joins the Atom processor-based all-in-one PC parade with today’s announcement of the new eMachines EZ1601-01. This new all-in-one provides all the computing essentials that a family would need without breaking the budget thanks to a retail price of $399.99.
The system comes in a Diamond Black finish with green LED lighting and a silver trim and features a large 18.5 inch widescreen LCD display. Other features and specs include:
- Matching keyboard and mouse
- Windows XP
- Integrated speakers
- Built-in 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi
- 18.5 inch 16:9 aspect ratio display with 1366 x 768 resolution
- Multi-in-one digital media card reader
- Intel Atom N270 processor clocked at 1.6GHz

- 1GB RAM
- Intel GMA 950 graphics
- 160GB SATA HDD
- 8x DVD DL drive
- 5 USB 2.0 ports
About the only thing missing is a touch-screen enabled display.
