HTC announces Hero (with a lil Sense)
HTC announces today both a new user experience paradigm called the HTC Sense and a new Android-powered handset utilizing the Sense called the HTC Hero.
Debuting with the HTC Hero and available on all new HTC devices from here on out, HTC Sense delivers on three “basic principles” – “Make it Mine, Stay Close, and Discover the Unexpected”. Here’s the low down on these three principles:
Make It Mine:
- New personalization feature allowing you to place widgets right on your home screen
- Widgets can be personalized with variety of designs and sizes that best match your personality
- New profile feature called “Scenes”. Create multiple Scenes and switch between them to reflect different moods
Stay Close:
- Provides variety of ways of interacting with friends and family
- When you view people, you can see how you can interact such as email, social networking etc
Discover the Unexpected:
- Search practically anything with dedicated search button
Now on the hardware front, the HTC Hero is an Android-powered mobile handset.
