Microsoft introduces Wireless Mouse 5000/6000 for mobile users
Microsoft has announced two new mobile mice – the Wireless Mouse 5000 and the Wireless Mouse 6000. Both mice feature Microsoft’s BlueTrack Technology which enables the mouse to work on all sorts of surfaces including granite countertops, carpets, wood tables, or even rough surfaces like an unfinished park bench.
The Wireless Mouse 5000 features:
- Symmetrical shape perfect for either hand
- Snap-in transceiver
- 2.4 GHz wireless
- 8 month battery life
The Wireless Mouse 6000 features:
- Plug and Go Nano technology – super small receiver
- 10 month battery life with battery indicator
- 2.4 GHz wireless
- On/Off switch
- Tilt Wheel, 4 way scroll, 5 programmable buttons, rubber side grips, and magnifier
You can pre-order the Wireless Mouse 5000 now for $39.95 and the Wireless Mouse 6000 for $49.95 at Amazon.com. Seems like a good mouse for netbook users out there! (though I’m a fan of the Microsoft Arc mouse)
