Dell continues to expand their popular Studio laptop product lineup with today’s introduction of the 14 inch Studio 14z laptop. The system shares much of the look and feel of the rest of the Studio lineup while maintaining a relatively thin profile measuring 0.79 to 1.2 inches thick.
The Studio 14z is also the industry’s first laptop to feature the optional FailSafe theft prevention system which helps to protect personal data if the laptop should go missing or get stolen. With FailSafe engaged, users will be able to :
- Track network information and the ISP location of the laptop when it connects to the Internet
- Get help to remotely erase selected files and render the laptop unusable until the rightful owner unlocks it
