Looks like the Internet rumor mill got it right (was there really any doubt?). Xbox Live’s Major Nelson confirmed on his blog yesterday that Microsoft would indeed be launching a new limited edition Xbox 360 Elite bundle known as the “Game Of The Year” bundle. The new bundled will feature the Xbox 360 Elite console coupled with Halo 3 and Fable II – all for $399. Yes, that’s indeed the same price as the standard Xbox 360 Elite console – MINUS the games. The bundle will be available in all regions where the Xbox 360 is sold EXCEPT in Europe.
