That is why many people nowadays prefer their cartridges to be refilled than to replace them. Some also spend some few bucks to modify their printer and put a system that can save ink and content that can last for 3 to 6 months.

Now I see that is why the inkjet printer ink was expensive. Well for my opinion I'd rather go to an expensive printer but a cheap ink. Ink can be change from time to time and hope that it will cheap.

Digital frame may work well, but printing your memorable photos is simply the best option, having a hard copy isn't that bad

I think its more than a little cynical that Kodak are targeting "the too busy to know better segment" ie soccer moms with their campaign.

Printing photos at home is never an economical solution. Buying an expensive printer to get prints at best price $0.15c if everything works (not likely based on Best Buy & Amazon users) versus better quality at Snapfish for $0.09c doesn't seem a smart deal.

Using inkjet for monochrome text documents is also the wrong solution.

Because Dell printers ARE lexmark printers.

THe quality of these Kodak prints at the 50% savings is aweful and there are plenty of reviews out there to point to this. You CAN get decent looking photos with the 50% savings setting but you have to use the high quality Kodak photo paper, which negates most of the savings. Not sure who they think they are kidding.

If you really want to save money, stop printing your photos. You’ll never get around to printing them all anyway. Get a Ceiva digital frame like I did and you’ll enjoy all your photos without wasting your time and money and trees printing them.

(CIS) Continuous ink System is still better solution after all.
CIS comes with tank and lines connected to catridges. This is one time purchase and the rest is to refill the external tank.

Statistically, customer save around $800-$1000 a year.
One unit can last for more than 1 year (Moderate printing)
