Dell officially releases the Adamo – it’s thin, and expensive
FINALLY.. the much ballyhooed Dell Adamo notebook is out. Yes, it’s thin. Yes, it’s impressive. AND YES… it’s expensive.
Let’s get right down to it shall we? From a thickness perspective, Dell considers the Adamo the world’s thinnest notebook – with a thickness of 0.65 inches compared to the MacBook Air’s 0.76 inch thickness. However, it’s definitely not one of the lightest notebooks out there as the stated weight of the Adamo is approximately four pounds. Win some.. you lose some.
Another notable (somewhat-loser-ish) feature is the fact that the Adamo utilizes Intel integrated graphics in the form of the GS45 (boo hiss). For a starting price of $1999,I was expecting NVIDIA or ATI graphics.. sigh.
