Dell brings sexyback with the new Studio One 19 All-In-One PC
Who said PC All-In-Ones are boring looking? Dell brings sexyback with the announcement of the new 19 inch Studio One 19 All-In-One (AIO) PC today. Available in a multitude of colors, the Studio One 19 will look good no matter where it’s placed thanks to its use of aluminum, glass, and fabric.
However, beauty isn’t skin deep here – the Studio 19 is decked out with the latest technologies. On the display front, the Studio One 19 has an optional touch screen display allowing it to compete against HP’s TouchSmart All-In-One PCs. There’s even a suite of touch-enabled applications from Dell allowing you to perform activities such as:
- Multi-touch photo editing, slideshow creation, playlist compilation, notes, and web browsing.
- You Paint finger painting software
- Record videos and upload directly to YouTube with the touch of a finger.
- Flick to Flickr – Upload photos to Flickr to share with family and friends.
- Create a musical masterpiece with the multi-touch percussion center
On the inside, you have the following configuration options for the Studio One 19:
Processor choices include Intel Celeron, Dual Core Celeron, Pentium Dual Core, Core 2 Duo, and Core 2 Quad Core- Up to 4GB RAM
- Up to 750GB HDD
- Slot-load optical drive
- 7 in 1 media card reader
- six USB ports
- Optional integrated wireless, webcam, Blu-ray
- Optional facial recognition security with webcam
- One single cord for the entire system
Prices for the Studio One 19 will start at $699 (and you gotta figure that’s for the Celeron model). Now in terms of availability, Dell will be launching the Studio One 19 first in Japan on March 23rd. The model will then be introduced in other countries later this spring.
BTW – even if Dell sales are lagging these days, you have to like what they’re doing with their new products – an emphasis on style and functionality. I like…
