Oh yes – one other notable Microsoft hardware announcement. The company announced four new special edition colors for their popular Microsoft Arc mouse - deep olive green, marine blue, eggplant purple and frost white.

If you’re not familiar with the Arc then you’re missing out on something very cool here. The mouse has a unique collapsible/fold design which transforms the arc-shaped mouse from a desktop piece to a portable notebook mouse. Even better – the mouse comes with a small snap-in magnetic micro-transceiver which attaches to the back of the mouse when not in use. When you’re ready to use it, simply remove the transceiver and plug it into an available USB port.

I’ve been using the Arc mouse for several months now and I highly recommend it for mobile users out there who want something truly portable as well as distinctive. It’ll draw attention wherever you use it!
