With this challenging economic climate, there’s really only a few dollars here and there available for capital investments such as new PC upgrades etc. Thus it’s not surprising to see PC manufacturers like Lenovo adapt new strategies with their product lineup. In the case of Lenovo, the company is modifying their desktop PC lineup by adding new inexpensive models that emphasize the total package experience.

A58TW(S)_01 The two new models are the ThinkCentre A58 for small to medium sized businesses and the ThinkCentre M58e for medium to large sized companies. These desktops have inexpensive price points, are power-efficient (which helps reduce the electricity bill of course), and offer a lower total cost of ownership thanks to the comprehensive management tools that come bundled with the new systems known collectively as the ThinkVantage Technologies. (Read more about the tools in the official Lenovo press release).

On the hardware front, the new desktops share common features such as support for Intel Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Duo processor, DirectX10 graphics support, up to 1TB of storage, up to 4GB of RAM, and your choice of either Blu-ray or DVD burners.

Expect the new business systems to be available in the beginning of April with prices starting as low as $399.
