Learn guitar with the Fretlight Guitar
I’ve always wanted to pick up the guitar and thanks to Optek Music Systems, this might actually be a possibility. The company sells a practice guitar system called the Fretlight Guitar which when coupled with a video teaching program teaches beginners how to play the guitar. The key to this learning system? A series of LEDs on the guitar neck that light up during the video lessons to show the user where to place their fingers. All you need is a PC or a Mac, an available USB port, their software, and of course, the guitar. There’s a wide assortment of guitars on their website and yes – they are all real guitars. I think I know what I want for Christmas now!
