Samsung introduces today two new 12 megapixel digital cameras – the TL320 and the HZ15W – both of which feature 24mm ultra-wide angle Schneider lens. The TL320 is the world’s first digital camera to use a 3 inch AMOLED display while the HZ15W has a lens with a focal length of 24 – 240mm. Here’s the basics of what you need to know about the two digicams.

TL320:

• 12.2 megapixel resolution
• Schneider lens – 24mm ultra-wide angle with 5x optical zoom
• 3 inch 460,000 dot AMOLED HVGA display with 10,000:1 contrast ratio resulting in darker blacks, more vibrant colors, and a brighter display viewable outdoors and in direct sunlight
• 720p HD video recording utilizing H.264 compression
• 5x optical zoom can be used while recording video
• Optical and digital image stabilization – you can choose one or both stabilization technologies
• Aperture priority, shuttle priority, full manual shooting
• Advanced Picture Mode – gives users the ability to fine tune color tones before image capture by adjusting the color temperature from 2,800 to 10,000K in 100K increments or by manually configuring the color space shift
• Smart Auto mode automatically chooses from one of the 11 scene modes
• Smart Album allows users to easily search for a specific image saved on a memory card.
