T-Mobile customers can go green with the new MOTO W233 Renew
IF you’re a T-Mobile customer looking for a new phone AND you’re looking to be a bit “green” in your life, then you’ll want to check out the newly announced MOTO W233 Renew handset now available at T-Mobile. Exclusively available only at T-Mobile, this candy-bar shaped handset has a plastic housing made of recycled water bottles which also happens to be completely recyclable.
Ahh but the greenness doesn’t stop there with the Renew. Somewhat true to the name, Motorola considers the Renew the world’s first ever “carbon-neutral mobile phone” – a device that “renews”. How does it gain such a status? Motorola will offset the carbon dioxide required to manufacture, distribute, and operate the phone through investments in renewable energy sources and reforestation – thereby renewing the resources consumed in making the phone available to consumers. No a bad idea (let’s see if it’s executed well though).
