New York-based Cocoon Innovations showed off their new line of Cocoon bags and cases at CES 2009 designed to store and protect the increasing number of digital devices that are filling our lives. Each Cocoon bag features a protective outer shell and a unique internal storage system called “The Grid”.
Designed for flexibility and customization, the Grid is a proprietary universal elastic organization system capable of storing practically any kind of device – whether it’s an MP3 player, a BlackBerry, an iPod, a digital camera, etc. All this is made possible through the use of crisscrossing elastic fabric which results in an efficient storage system.
Below is a snapshot of the Grid in action.
The new bags and cases will come out this Spring with Cocoon manufacturing a wide array of products to satisfy every customer segment.
Thanks to unique eye-catching designs and a innovative elastic grid storage system, this certainly isn’t your typical computer bag. It’s a bag that exemplifies form AND function; a bag that’s sexy and purposeful.
Finally, a word on pricing – expect prices to range from sub-$100 for consumer oriented bags to several hundred dollars for leather professional bags.
Now without further ado, here are pictures of some of the bags that were on display at CES 2009. (We have product information for some of the new cases pictured here).
