Above is the new Ion ANYROOM wireless, multi-room speaker system designed for the Apple iPod and introduced at CES 2009. The system consists of two wireless stereoRX modules (with each module consisting of left and right speakers) and a single wireless microTX dongle for the iPod. The speakers can be placed in different locations and have a range of 600 feet from the location of the transmitter dongle. The package comes with a handheld, wireless remote control that allows the user to control the iPod, control the volume levels, and apply equalizer settings. You can expect the ANYROOM system from Ion Audio in the second quarter for a price of $199.99.
