MSI’s answer to ASUS’s Eee Box desktop PC comes in the form of the MSI Windbox (oh so original..). The Windbox comes in a slate form factor and is designed to be attached to the back of a flat-panel display via the VESA mount.
Features of the MSI Windbox include an Intel Atom processor N270, 1-2GB of RAM, 160GB/250GB HDD, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, Multi-format memory card reader, three USB ports, 7.1 channel audio, and VGA output. Windows XP Home comes with the Windbox and the entire unit weighs just 500 grams.
Expect the MSI Windbox in Q1 for around 200 Euros.
