Think you’re good at spotting phishing and spam emails? Go ahead and take the SonicWALL Phishing and Spam IQ Quiz. I ended up getting 9 out of 10 – missing the 2nd question (which I still disagree with… but whatever).  According to SonicWALL (and via News.com), only 59.4 percent of test takers so far this year have been able to properly identify legitimate email – down from 77.8 percent in 2004. Only 7.4 percent of test takers this year were able to correctly identify every email they were presented. On the positive side – more people are able to identify phishing scams – with 86.1 percent catching the phishing emails.
