Since I was still visiting SlashGear, I noticed that they published their first impressions of the upcoming AT&T QuickFire handset – a Sidekick wannabe otherwise known as the UTStarcom Knick. The handset features:

• Quad-band GSM support
• 2.8 inch QVGA touch-screen display
• Slide up the screen to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard
• Bluetooth support
• 1.3 megapixel camera
• messaging support including POP3, SMS, MMS, and IM
• microSD slot

No verdict on the phone as of yet but it should be going on sale starting tomorrow for a price of $149.99 (that’s with a $50 dollar MIR and a new two year agreement).
