Gesture controlled EOps i24R3 iPod speaker system
Let’s face it. iPod speaker systems are a dime a dozen these days so what’s a manufacturer to do if they want to release a new system? Add a distinctive (the funkier the better) feature of course!
That’s what you’ll find with the EOps i24R3 wireless speaker system. While the wireless capabilities of the EOps i24R3 are certainly sweet in their own right (the unit supports up to 8 wireless satellite speakers paired to the subwoofer/iPod base station), the real attraction here is the hands-free gesture based control supported by the speaker system. Simply wave your hands in front of the subwoofer/base station to control either the equalizer settings or the volume setting. You can even more your hands in front of the satellite speakers and control the volume there too.
Should gesture control be too rudimentary for you, you can also opt to use the RF based remote control. Finally, the EOps i24R3 comes with a wireless dongle which allows you to stream music directly over the network to a PC or a Mac. Expect the EOps i24R3 in early 2009.
