Gateway introduced today a new high end multimedia notebook series today called the MC-Series. The MC-Series features a 16 inch edge-to-edge glass widescreen display, a 16:9 aspect ratio, 1366 x 768 resolution, illuminated multimedia touch controls, Intel Core 2 Duo processors, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 graphics, HDMI 1.3 support, 5 in 1 media card reader, four USB 2.0 ports, 1.3 megapixel camera, Draft-N Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet and an LED illuminated keyboard.

The notebook will be available in two color choices (burgundy and black) and features a synthetic leather branding stripe flanked by silver accents. Here are the specs to two models in the MC-Series:
