AT&T and Sony Ericsson announced the availability of the Sony Ericsson W760a Walkman phone – the first 3G Walkman phone in the U.S. The W760a is a full-on Walkman phone with features such as:

  • SensMe technology which creates playlists based on tempo and mood
  • Support for AAC, AAC+, MP3, WMA file formats
  • Customizable equalizer
  • Support for eMusic Mobile, Napster Mobile
  • Built-in FM radio
  • MegaBass support
  • TrackID

The handset also includes a built-in accelerometer which allows users to “shake” or “tilt” their handset to fast forward to the next track or of course play video games. Speaking of games, the handset also comes with dedicated A and B gaming buttons for additional control.

The W760a will be available for $129.99 after a new two-year agreement and a mail-in-rebate (it’s $279.99 without a commitment). The handset will be available in three colors – red, black, and silver.
