Microsoft announced pre-orders for a new Zune Gears of War 2 Special Edition 120GB device to celebrate the upcoming Gears of War 2 game for the Xbox 360 console. Consumers can pre-order the new player at Amazon.com and Walmart.com for $279.99. 

Features of the new Zune Gears of War 2 Special Edition include the following:

• 120GB storage space
• Laser-etched Crimson Omen on a new gloss black enclosure
• Collectible Gears of War packaging
• 244 pieces of Gears of War media (original game soundtrack, behind-the-scenes videos, game trailers, and concept art galleries)

The player will begin shipping on November 7th which is also the same day that Gears of War 2 will go on sale worldwide.
