Apple announces Ultracompact USB Adapter Exchange Program affecting iPhone 3G users

These ultracompact USB power adapters were supplied with every iPhone 3G shipped in the following countries:
- US
- Japan
- Canada
- Mexico
- Several Latin America countries

The new adapter have a single green dot on the bottom:
Apple will begin the exchange program on October 10th. You can either order a replacement adapter via the web or go to an Apple retail store to replace it – both starting on the 10th.
