Toshiba has finally decided to join the netbook market with their new Satellite NB100 system. The system features specs that can be found on nearly every other netbook out there these days including:

• Intel Atom processor
• 1GB RAM
• 120GB HDD
• 8.9 inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution
• Built-in Wi-Fi
• Ethernet
• 0.3 megapixel webcam
• Choice of Linux or Windows XP

Toshiba claims the battery life is 3 hours and 47 minutes (which seems rather exacting to me). You can choose from three colors – Cosmic Black, Champagne Gold and Bright Silver with availability due in October for a price of £260.
