Nokia announces N96 coming to Americas in fourth quarter
Nokia announced on Monday that the new N96 handset, with support for HSDPA networks, would be coming to the Americas during the fourth quarter of this year. In case you’ve forgotten about the N96, the handset features a large 2.8 inch display, 16GB of internal memory, and support for a wide range of media formats including Windows Media Video. Other specs to the N96 (which was announced earlier this year) include:
- 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics
- Integrated Wi-Fi
- Assisted GPS
- One-click uploading of images, videos via Share on Ovi service
- Pre-installed N-Gage applications
- Three months of navigation service for Nokia Maps 2.0
The Nokia N96 is expected to be available for a price of $895.. yes.. that’s pretty darn expensive!
