Canon intros PowerShot A1000 IS, A2000 IS, and SX110 IS
Canon updated their affordable PowerShot A-series lineup today with the introduction of two new models – the PowerShot A1000 IS and the PowerShot A2000 IS digital cameras. In addition, Canon also added an ultra-zoom model to their SX-series called the PowerShot SX110 IS. Here’s what you need to know about the cameras:
The PowerShot A1000 IS features:
- DIGIC III with face detection technology, motion detection technology and red eye correction
- 10 megapixel resolution
- 4x optical zoom lens
- 2.5 inch LCD screen
- Optical Image Stabilization
- Available in gray, blue, gold and purple
- Suggested price of $199.99 and available in Sept.
The PowerShot A2000 IS features:
- DIGIC III with face detection technology, motion detection technology and red eye correction
- 10 megapixel resolution
- 6x optical zoom lens
- 3 inch LCD screen
- Optical Image Stabilization
- Suggested price of $249.99 and available in Sept.
The PowerShot SX110 IS features:
- DIGIC III with face detection technology, motion detection technology and red eye correction
- 9 megapixel resolution
- 10x optical zoom lens
- 3 inch LCD screen
- Optical Image Stabilization
- Suggested price of $299.99 and available at the end of this month
All cameras come with two AA batteries, 32 MB SD card, USB interface cable, AV cable, wrist strap, and Canon software.
