Canon introduced the new PowerShot E1 digital camera today – a new stylish camera designed specifically to attract the youth. The E1 has a round and curvy design (though a bit too cute for my tastes) and features a 10 megapixel resolution, 4x optical zoom lens, optical image stabilization technology and face detection technology.  The E1 is available in three colors – white, blue, and pink, and has 17 shooting modes for all sorts of occasions. Specs include:

• DIGIC III with face detection technology, motion detection technology, and red eye correction
• 10 megapixel resolution
• 4x optical zoom lens
• 2.5 inch LCD
• Optical Image Stabilization
• Video recording with long-play mode
